Head of Young Rep – Closing Thursday 30th June at 12pm

This is an exciting new role in The Rep’s Creative Learning Department, combining strategic management of our Young Rep programme with some artistic delivery to develop our offer for young people in the city and region. The Young Rep programme involves all ‘informal’ activities outside of educational settings, including youth theatre and outreach projects with young people and partner organisations. The Head of Young Rep will put their stamp on the identity of the programme and enhance how we work with young people, developing our brand and strategy to increase outreach across the West Midlands. Everything you do will be to boost our ambition to become a training theatre.

 

Talent Development Producer – Closing Monday 4th July at 12pm

The Talent Development Producer is a brand-new role and will be pivotal in delivering a structured programme of opportunities and support for emerging artists. This includes the launch and management of the Foundry project – a significant programme of community-based co-creation for accessible theatre making across the city. You will be an ambassador for the programme and The Rep.

 

Producer – Closing Monday 4th July at 5pm

This role is a crucial part of the Producing Team and will be responsible for producing projects that are part of our programme in the House, Studio and Door. The Rep welcomes talented and collaborative individuals who are open-minded, energetic and eager to contribute their ideas and experience as we embark on the exciting journey ahead.

 

Deputy Head of Lighting

Working alongside the Head of Lighting, this role will have responsibility for all LX requirements for the Rep productions and will assume a hands-on role in the day to day running of the department. You will ensure excellent customer service is consistently provided to staff, customers and visitors to The Rep and UVB events. This role will require you to deputise for the Head of Lighting and ensure the efficient technical management of all events and productions.

There is also responsibility to ensure that digital technology and sustainability are at the heart of every project.

 

Theatre & Sales Assistant (Box Office) – Closing Tuesday 30th June at 12pm

This role is crucial to the smooth running of the customer experience and will be accountable for providing a first class visitor experience every time. You will be an ambassador for The Rep and represent the company mission, vision and values in every customer interaction.

 

Senior Marketing Officer – Closing Thursday 30th June at 12pm

This is a central role in our Audiences and Media team, the successful candidate will play an important part in the marketing and promotion of an exciting portfolio of prestigious projects, events, services and activities. These will include The Rep’s new season which includes new world premiere productions of musicals, comedies and new writing.

 

Finance Officer

The Finance Officer works within the Finance Office and is responsible for:

  • The management of purchase ledger invoice processing and payments for the commercial subsidiary companies of The Rep group; and
  • A range of finance/cashier tasks to support all companies in the The Rep group.

The Finance department is responsible for all aspects of the financial management of the theatre and its commercial subsidiaries.

 

UVB Sales Manager – Closing Monday 17th June at 12pm

As Sales Manager, you will work alongside the Business Development Director to generate revenues and promote sustainable growth for UVB and BREL.   You will demonstrate a proactive approach to your sales approach to the business and contribute to the financial sales targets across both trading subsidiaries.

This role is responsible for generating sales for UVB across its portfolio of venues.

 

Bar Staff – Closing Monday 4th July at 12pm

This new role will have responsibility for ensuring our customers have a first class visitor experience that reflects the mission and values of the organisation. You will be vital to the smooth running of the front of house hospitality and it will be crucial that you are a superb communicator. You must be able to manage work quickly and manage several tasks at one time, all the while remaining professional, calm and welcoming.
